Columbia Basin Trust has committed $100,000 to our community over a four-year period, specifically to enhance local opportunities and services targeted at youth. Slocan Valley youth have chosen to use these funds towards transportation. A 15-seater bus runs up and down the Slocan Valley Friday & Saturday evenings from 5:00 pm- 1 am to and from the Slocan Valley Youth Centre.

Having access to this kind of transportation will facilitate more and better quality programs to youth and others in the Valley. The bus will also be available for hire by others in the community.
