The Slocan Valley Youth Centre is open every weekend to any youth age 12 -18. Our hours are 7pm -10pm, on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Slocan Valley Youth Centre will be closed to drop in programming/ youth centre nights until further notice. 
The Slocan Valley Youth Network will be providing scheduled programming in the space Friday & Saturday nights from 7-10pm. If you plan on attending the programming that SVYN will be providing then you are agreeing to stay in the space for the duration of time, if you choose to no longer stay at SVYN programming, a phone call will be made to have your parents pick you up. Also note that the age to attend programming is 12 – 18.

Fri 6th – Board Game Night Sat 7th – Burger and Bean bag toss

Fri 13th – Art Night Sat 14th – Pool and Uno tournament

Fri 20th – Lego Night Sat 21st – Slime Night

Fri 27th – Plant Adventures Sat 28th – Taco Night

We also have some additional upcoming programming for youth:

Pizza night – SVYN, WEGCSS & Freedom Quest Tuesday May 10th 3pm – 5pm

Movie night at the Junction – open to any youth 12 -18 Wednesday May 11th 3:30 – 6pm

Cookie night with Susan Thursday May 12th from 3pm -5pm  – pre registration required – 6 spots

Valley View Golf Tournament – SVYN is looking to sponsor a youth team of 4, if interested contact Chantal

  • To provide mentorship and a receptive ear to the problems and concerns of the young people we serve and to refer serious concerns to the administrators.
  • To alleviate the isolation felt by many rural at risk youth.
  • To be role models for youth in our communities.
  • To provide qualified on site First Aid.
