Slocan Valley Better at Home

Slocan Valley Better at Home is a new program at WEGCSS that is part of the Better at Home provincial initiative that is funded by United Way BC. Slocan Valley Better at Home will provide non-medical services to seniors to help them continue to live at home independently. These services will be provided on a sliding scale based on income (see below). The communities we will be serving are RDCK Area H (Summit Lake/Hills to Playmor Junction) and the villages of New Denver, Silverton and Slocan.

Whilst our core funding is provided by United Way BC, our services are oversubscribed and to continue providing these vital services we are also dependent on other grant funding and generous donations. Please consider making a donation to support the seniors in your community.
